SONY INDIA Launches new Blu-ray External Slim Re-writable drive for Indian enthusiasts. This new blu-ray drive is successor for the bdx s500u.

Features of the new Blu-ray drive are.


  • Tray Loading.
  • Comes with USB 2.0. having integrated dual cables for sufficient power supply.
  • It can write single and dual layer BD-R media at up to 6x, BD-RE at 2x, and BD-R XL at 4x, thus theoretically capable of recording a full 100 GB disc in about an hour and a half. It also supports writing to BD-RE at 2x. The drive comes with Cyberlink Media Suite 8 to help you enjoy 3D Blu-ray movies at no extra cost.
  • Comes in a retail package bundled with CyberLink’s Media Suite 8 for capturing, authoring, editing, backing up, viewing high-definition personal content and playing back Blu-ray disc movies including Blu-ray 3D movies and is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP.
